Here's a box that's solid construction, but not solid wood. It's made of plywood covered with a Birds Eye Maplee veneer. Veneer allows the use of expensive and/or exotic wood types without their high cost and if done properly is virtually invisible to the casual observer.
Inside this box you'll find it lighted and lined with a black & red check pattern and red felt.
